We are pleased with their services, they have a great record keeping system and provide electronic reports with photos of the community of identified areas where we have more concern, ie., maintenance shop, clubhouse and office, pool area and vacant homes. The patrol persons are responsible and timely and are in uniform which makes for easy visual deterrent. In one situation a home caught fire the patrol office followed the smoke and assisted resident and made immediate report to their dispatch, in turn dispatch called the staff in real time.
This provided us with instant updates, we had a police chase and shooting where this resource was of great importance. Our residents are pleased that they have a resource to call (dispatch number) to make reports of noise complaints or any other type of report and remain anonymous even when not during patrol hours yet outside of office hours. It has been my pleasure to be acquainted with, and to do business with Elijah and Preventive Measures for 4-1/2 years. I was referred to Preventive Measures Security Firm LLC after acquiring 2 very nice, but problematic properties in North Las Vegas. I have lived and managed properties in Las Vegas for 23 years, but I had never managed in North Las Vegas and quickly learned that looks can be deceiving, as the 2 properties I was given to manage had many problems. The Police were reluctant to help me as they had been called to the properties many times with no improvement in the years preceding our company purchasing and taking over management of the properties.
I was basically told that I needed a plan to improve and make some changes if they were to partner with me and help me turn the properties around. I started with making a change with my security company, which I knew would be crucial to meet this goal. I met with Elijah and he assured me that he and his team would take care of me and the properties. He delivered on his word. Through constant communication and care, with recommendations through the process by him and his team, we made strides and a great difference for the properties and the residents in a matter of months.
In fact, a year after taking management of the 2 properties my team and I went to the police department on October 1, on the anniversary of the mass shooting, to express our appreciation for their service, and when they asked where we were from, they knew our addresses and thanked us personally for making a difference and turning things around. When asked what we had done we told them of our diligence and care for our residents, and we mentioned Preventive Measures by name because we could not have done it without them. They were our constant partners through the difficult times in the beginning, never wavering and never giving up on us.
Elijah and his team have since taken on contracts at several more of our properties in Nevada and other states, and at no time during their growth has their service to us changed. We continue to receive the same care and communication we received from the day they stepped on to those 2 properties in North Las Vegas nearly 5 years ago.
